Fantastic meal, couldn't fault it, great quality and service, lovely place too,will definitely be going back.really good value too.pleasant and helpful staff.
Out for a family mid week meal, we was met by a lovely lady behind the bar, who took our orders promptly and efficiently. As we headed to the carvery, my dad asked for 2 meats, he was told only one meat as the meal was cheaper than a Sunday, and if he wanted 2 meats he would need to come on a Sunday, this is perfectly understandable, however the tone which was abrupt wasn't needed.... the lady serving the carvery handled, the Yorkshire puddings, stuffing and roast potato with gloves, the same gloves she picked dirty glasses up with and moved around chairs! My mum who's allergic to latex was dubious about eating these items not knowing if they contained latex. The food was very bland and although it was only 5, we did expect flavour to our meal! We wasn't going to complain, however as we were asked about our meal, we did mention it was bland and the lady in the carvery was abrupt. We then went outside to finish our drinks in the smoking area, where we heard the staff talking about us and making remarks about our comments. As first time customers we were looking forward to our experience, I only wish we had listened to family and friends that had told us to avoid the establishment, we won't be returning.
Went here for a dinner a carvery which to me was under seasoned and bland. The staff was abrupt when asked about meat said "only one meat with this as it only five pound meal" .then as sat having drink outside same staff stood talking about comments made about meal and their attitude
