absolutely let down by pets at home. We adopted two rabbits from them. They claimed that whoever donated them said that they had always been together. They hadnt been neutered and told us just to get it done as soon as we can. They were both female. So we took them home and put them together in a large 2 storey hutch. Which staff at pets at home said it was ok for them to live together. Within 3 days of getting them one of the rabbits attacked the other. We came to the hutch and saw that our little rabbits eyelid had been tore back and all around her eye was bleeding and the fur had gone. We rushed her to the vets and she had to have emergency surgery. We hadnt had time to insure them as we hadnt previously had any pets so the surgery cost us 274!!! We had to donate the rabbit who attacked back to pets at home as we didnt have room for 2 hutches to keep them separate. The knowledge of the staff at pets at home was appalling. They told us they were possibly the Same breed - one was a dwarf lop and the other was huge!! They definitely didnt put the rabbits first in this instance. They should have told us they needed to keep separate in which case we wouldnt have adopted them and let someone with the room care for them. My poor little rabbit flopsy is now recovering and I still cry every time I see her shaved area and swollen eye with stitches. Absolutely disgusted by how pets at home dealt with us and the little bunnies. Avoid at all costs.
Five star service. Girls are very friendly and knowledgeable.
I'm glad that this survey has come to me. I was just saying to my wife how professional Evie and Bek were on the tropical fish sales. Very courteous, all smiles, informative and nothing too much trouble! Many thanks ladies! Pat K
Really helpful and knowledgeable staff. Bought a rabbit and spent ages explaining care and bonding etc. Gave the rabbit a thorough check over before letting us take her home. Fantastic!!!
Great local pet store. The staff are always helpful and always seem really happy. One member in particular helped me find and size the correct harness for my puppy, which i would've struggled doing by myself. They were extremely kind and patient! Perfect customer service.
